I've had a BIG month!

The cutest pumpkin in the patch! And check me out in my truck- I'm practically sitting up.

I'm not technically 3 months old yet (that'll be Nov. 6th),
but I am 12 weeks as of last Wednesday!

I went trick-or-treating at Mommy's old work. This is Auntie Sue and Auntie Stasi!

They give out the good stuff! I made out pretty good- don't you think? Here's my fellow trick-or-treaters! This was a big month for me! I took a trip to California and met so many people!!!

Check me out at the beach- Mommy's FAVORITE place! Pretty cold water, but I didn't mind! I'm so easy-go-lucky! These are my 8 Cow Aunties- I don't quite understand why Mommy calls them that, but I know they love me!!! I'm hiding under there...I also met my Auntie Amy- she has a baby girl in her tummy! And this is my Auntie Dawnielle... ...and her cute little munchkin- Asher!Of course, I hung out with my big cousin, Claire. She's the best- sings to me, tickles me...

and, of course, gives me LOTS of kisses!

These days I have really great eye contact.
I'm hanging out with Uncle Erik in this picture! Aren't I precious?
And, I REALLY love to show off my smile these days! Auntie Camille was making me laugh! This is my brand new friend, Hope.
She was born to my Mommy's friend, Karen, while I was away in California!

We had a reunion with all the other babies that were in their Mommy's tummies during childbirth classes-so fun to meet them and hear their delivery stories!
I'm growing every day and getting so BIG. Here's me sitting up in my special little chair! Daddy and I love to watch football together!
And I'm starting to really love my baths! Hanging out with my Mommy in this sling is always a good time- I love to be in on the action! We were making cupcakes!
My Auntie Minna is having her baby (my cousin, Chase) in just a couple weeks! My Great Grandma Gladys came out for her shower and to meet me! We had a great time!

I also met my Daddy's Aunt from Pittsburgh, Aunt Cindy, and my cousins Carson and Sarah!

Daddy caught me taking a nap with Mommy one day. Naps with her are the best! And, let's see, what else? Oh yeah, here's my new Motto:
(Have to read my shirt...)Mommy's not a big fan of this new thing I picked up called not-taking-naps-and-
crying-lots-and-lots instead, but I'm so cute that she forgives me! :)

I'm TWO months old already!!!

So, the other day, I discovered that I have this really cool thing

that I can suck on anytime I want!!!But, as you can see, I really like this big green thing, too!Sometimes my Auntie Julie takes me on walks in this contraption...

I love being in there!

Also, I just love hanging out with my Papa! Do you like our camo???I'm a VERY happy guy most of the time! Here are some of my Mommy's dear friends... they really like me!And, here are some of Daddy's friends... look down below to see what they introduced me to...Yup, FIRE!!! Another new trick of mine is to drink from a bottle...

to be with me and help Mommy out.

I really like her!AND, my last new fun game I want to tell you about is laughing. I just LOVE to smile! My Auntie Minna is hilarious!
And, today, my Daddy gave me a ride in my truck again... how much longer do you think I'll fit?

You can see that my cheeks are filling out nicely compared to last month's picture down below. Mommy doesn't think this outfit will last til next month- we'll see...

Finally!

OK. Sorry it has been a month since we posted but we finally got high speed internet at our house and can now update the blog. I want to take a picture of Josiah each month in his truck to chart his growth. I am sure mom will be writing more soon. -Dad

Here is Josiah at his first play date. These two little girls were in his childbirth prep classes. They were all in their mommy's tummies at the time.

100% too cute!!

Meeting my Wonderful Family!

First of all, here's a close up of me to remind you that I'm SO cute! Mommy and Daddy (and, well everyone that's met me really) are SOOOO in love with me!!!

When I was one week old, Uncle Erik, Auntie Camille and cousin Claire all drove out from California to meet me. Uncle Joel and Auntie Minna came down from Fort Collins and we all hung out at Gramma and Papa's place- such fun! Here's a great shot of the whole gang!

This is my Auntie Minna- she's practicing her diapering skills since my cousin, Chase, is coming into the world this coming December! I give her an A+ (I didn't even cry when she changed my poopy like I normally do- that's how good she is!!!)

And, this is my big cousin Claire! At first, she wasn't sure about me and was upset that her Auntie Julie (my Mom) wasn't able to play with her more cause I was always needing her to feed me, but by the end of their trip she was kissing me, giving me stickers on my head, tickling my face with her hair and reading me stories (yup, she can read and she's only 4- I have a lot to learn from her!). She also liked to announce, "Josiah's a little on the hiccuppy side again!" HICCUP! I get them ALL the time!

This is my Papa... I actually met him the first night I came out. He talks to me more than anyone. Everyone else forgets that I love to listen, but not him. He says he's going to teach me how to talk. We're working on my first word- either "Ma-ma" or "Da-da". Here we are taking a nap.

This is my Auntie Camille (woops, don't look at my parts!). She helped Mommy so much with feeding me and making sure she was decked out with all the infant gadgets that are needed!

This is my Uncle Erik- he and I have similar hair (kinda sticks up in the middle!) I thought he was pretty cool and very funny- plus he was willing to hold me even when I cried!

During the Olympics, Daddy made sure I joined in on the action! This is the 100 meter final. Someday I'm going to be that fast- Daddy says so!

And, then this past Tuesday, I got to meet my Grandma Carrie- she CANNOT stop kissing me! She babysat me while Mommy and Daddy had their first date since I've arrived. They celebrated their 4th Anniversary and decided I'm the BEST present they could have ever asked for!
